Joan H Moldenhauer

Joan Helen Moldenhauer, Jamestown, ND passed away comfortably on June 29, 2022 at the age of 81.

Joan was born on February 15, 1941 to Everett and Alice Marple in Fergus Falls, MN, she was the first of six children.  Later in her childhood the family moved to Duluth, MN.

After Joan graduated high school she attended Lutheran Bible Institute.  She then moved to Jamestown, ND and worked at the Anne Carlsen Center for Children.

Joan met Vernon Moldenhauer in 1964 and the two were married and together had four children.

Joan is survived by her children; Mark (Marie) Moldenhauer, Jamestown, ND, Bradly (Tammy) Moldenhauer, Fargo, ND, Tara Ryder, Tampa, Fla., David (Jennifer) Moldenhauer, Eagen, MN; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers Darwin (Maureen) Marple, Duluth, MN, Tom (Michele Doyle) Marple, Bismarck, ND, Kurt (Elaine) Marple, Buffalo, MN; sister Tammy (Brian) Morse, Duluth, MN; sister-in-law Beverly Marple, Wasilla, AK.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years Vernon, parents, and one brother Allen “Butch” Marple.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Susan Haukaas officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Interment will be at Church of God Seventh Day Cemetery, Alfred, ND.
