V. Jocelyn Spoerl was born September 7, 1917 to William and Mary Spoerl in Marion, North Dakota. She was baptized as a minister of Jehovah on July 12, 1942.
She met and married Andrew Tabbert on March 27, 1948 in Moorhead, MN. They continued to serve Jehovah in many facets of the ministry. Andrew and Jocelyn had two children, Steven and Pamela. Andrew and Jocelyn farmed for 54 years near Eckelson and Ypsilanti, ND. Jocelyn enjoyed life. We will remember her as joyful, beautiful, and giving.
How comforting to know that Jocelyn is merely asleep in death. (1 Thess. 4:13).
We all have the opportunity and can look forward to the time when we will once again enjoy her association in that new system of things promised by Jehovah God. (Ps 37:29).
She loved to draw and paint pictures. She also loved driving combine and spent many hours doing that. And, she spent many hours waiting for her husband, Andrew, at the Kingdom Hall. She certainly had the patience of Job.
