Joseph Litt, 47, Grand Forks, North Dakota, formerly of Jamestown, ND died Monday, April 11, 2005 at his home in Grand Forks.
Joseph was born March 31, 1958 in Jamestown the son of Anton ""Tony"" and Maydris (Torkelson) Litt. He was raised in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School. He received training in hotel management and the culinary arts in Bismarck, ND. He was employed at Jamestown High School in maintenance for many years and worked as a chef at the VFW in Jamestown. The past few years he worked at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Joe commuted to Crookston to work with the mentally disabled.
Joe enjoyed fishing, music and cooking.
Joe is survived by two daughters, LeAnne Koch of Grand Forks and Chrissy Koch of Jamestown, one brother, Gary (Marilyn) Litt, Moorhead, MN, four sisters, Lynnae (Pat) Bergman, Jamestown, Barbara Davis, Jamestown, Debra (Wayne) Bjugstad, Edgeley, ND and Julie Lange, Jamestown and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dennis.
Memorial Service: 1:00 PM, Monday, April 18, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
