John ""Jack"" Batesole, 69, Jamestown, North Dakota died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Mr. Batesole was born November 26, 1937 in Merced, California the son of Vern and Myrtle (Christensen) Batesole. Jack was raised in Jamestown, graduating from Jamestown High School. He moved to Pingree, ND in the 1960's and lived there for 18 years before moving back to Jamestown. Jack drove truck for Dan Duggan, Wiley Trucking out of Fargo and Wedgcor in Jamestown. He also drove school bus for Dietrich Bus Company. On October 3, 1956 Jack married Bonnie ""Patty"" DeLong in Detroit Lakes, MN.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his two little dogs.
Jack is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of Jamestown; two daughters, Cindy Hamilton, Minneapolis, MN and Joan (Kenneth) John, Horace, ND; two sons, Vernon (Monica) Batesole, Bismarck, ND and Jay (Sheri) Batesole, Fargo, ND; his mother, Myrtle Batesole, Jamestown; two sisters, Doreen (Dallas) Machovsky, Fargo and Donna Foster, Jamestown and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel in Jamestown with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.
Visitation: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home.
