John Deede

John Deede, 69, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Essentia Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota.
John Deede was born March 14, 1947 in Fargo, North Dakota and adopted at a young age to Albert and Hattie (Hochhalter) Deede. John married Donna Brooks in 1969. They had one son Joseph and one daughter, Janet. They lived in Medina where he worked at Knetter Cheese Plant. On August 2, 1985, John married Donna Gahner. In 1989, John moved to Jamestown where he worked at NDSH for 27 1/2 years before retiring in June 2005. John married Joann Thompson Larson on September 8, 2007 in Jamestown.
He enjoyed going to auctions and collecting treasures. John had a fond appreciation for his two dogs "Cosmo" and "Midnight".
He is survived by his wife, Joann, Jamestown; one son, Joseph Deede, Medina, ND; three grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Faith Deede; one foster sister, Betty Bjerke. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, daughter, Janet Deede, two foster brothers, Larry and Harold.

Funeral service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Erik Weber, officiating.
Visitation: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25 at Eddy Funeral Chapel with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 PM.
Burial: Gem Cemetery, Woodworth, ND.
