John Hanson

John M. Hanson, 86, Arthur, North Dakota died May 10, 2003 in a Grand Forks Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. John was born January 25, 1917 in Minot, North Dakota the son of Hans and Julia (Gilbertson) Hanson. He lived with his mother until going to Good Samaritan Home at Arthur, ND in 1948. He worked on farms and did many odd jobs until going to the Home.

John loved to fish, watch ballgames and sing in the choir at Good Samaritan Home.

He is survived by one brother, Martin (Martha) Wisdom, Steele, ND and one sister, Clara Brady, Warren, Oregon, 15 nephews & nieces and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and four nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 15, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Visitation: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Ypsilanti Cemetery, Ypsilanti, North Dakota.
