John Kulink

John Kulink, 79, Lisbon, ND, formerly Jamestown, ND died at the Lisbon Hospital, Lisbon, ND on Friday, November 30, 2007.
John Arthur Kulink was born on February 2, 1928 at Jamestown, ND the son of Edward and Helen (Schaler) Kulink. John attended school in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School. He entered the U. S. Army in April, 1946 and served with the Army of Occupation in Japan. Following his discharge in October, 1947, John returned to North Dakota and farmed near Pingree, ND. He married Eunice Peters in October, 1950. He later moved to Jamestown and then to the Bismarck area where he worked as a bartender and as the manager of the Knights of Columbus Club in Mandan, ND. John then returned to Jamestown and worked as a bartender for the Eagles, Brass Rail and the Knights of Columbus. He was a resident of the North Dakota Veterans Home in Lisbon, ND.
John is survived by his daughters, Linda (Darrell) Hovland, Penn, ND and Nancy (Rob) Wade, Alvarado, MN; sons, Dale (Brenda) , Bismarck, ND, John (Kathy), Mapleton, ND and Terry, Moffit, ND; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Edward (Beverly), Spokane, WA, and Ralph (Norma), Salem, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Donald and Robert.
John was a member of The Basilica Of St. James, Jamestown, ND and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1883 and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly 793.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2007 at The Basilica Of St. James, Jamestown, ND with Father John McGinnis presiding.
Prayer Service: 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Sunday followed by a prayer service at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Visitation: Noon until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
