John Mooridian, 66, of Jamestown, ND died Friday, January 10, 2003 at Meritcare Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
John Mooridian was born August 26, 1936 in Eldridge, ND the son of George and Clara (Schaeffer) Mooridian. He grew up and attended school in Eldridge, ND. John operated a gas station and worked at a newspaper office in Fargo, ND. He later worked in the goldmines in Sturgis, SD and as a lumberjack in Lookinglass, OR. He married Carole Kennedy on April 30, 1960 in Detroit Lakes, MN. John moved to Jamestown and worked as a truck driver and later a salesman for Gamble-Robinson, now Food Service of America, for 20 years.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards.
He is survived by one daughter, Teresa (Paul) Andre of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; two sons, Greg (Marinda) Mooridian of Westminister, CO and Jeff (Merri) Mooridian of Jamestown, ND; nine grandchildren, Levi and Grant of Westminister, CO, Michael and Chelsi of Jamestown, ND, Daniel, Matthew, Jennifer, and Vanessa of Regina, Sask, Canada, and Jill of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, USA; one sister, Lucille (Alfred) Solberg of Fargo, ND; and one brother-in-law, Robert Rosatti of Billings, MT.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one brother, George Mooridian, Jr.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Della (William) Dietz and Marion Rosatti.
Funeral Service: 1:30PM Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Visitation: Monday, January 13, 2003 from 1:00PM to 9:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: Jones Township Cemetery, Bemidji, MN.
