Joyce Neva

Joyce Neva, 74 of Jamestown, ND passed away peacefully on August 5, 2013 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown.

Joyce was born October 6, 1938 to John and Bernice Alveshere in Harvey, ND. She moved to Jamestown in 1954, and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1956.

She went to work for Bell Telephone, moving to Jamestown State Hospital where she retired after many years of service.

In 1959 she married Bernard Clemens having 3 children, Julie Goldsmith, Tamara Carroll, and Robert Clemens.

She later married Kenneth Neva in January 1979 living a good life. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and canning with him. She really enjoyed her many special friends and spending time with them.

Joyce is survived by daughters, Julie Goldsmith (John) of Fosston, MN, Tamara Carroll of Fosston, MN and son Robert Clemens of Braham, MN; grandchildren Jamie, Jon, Paul, Dylan and Nicholas; great-grandchildren Stephen, Krysta, and Gage; brother-in-law Warren Sand and longtime special friend, Jayda Provorse.

She is preceded in death by husband, father, mother, sister, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.
