Judith Loven

Judith Loven, 83, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Judith Johnson was born September 8, 1921 in Kulm, North Dakota the daughter of Ludwig and Freja (Nordgren) Johnson. She attended school in Swede township until the 8th grade. On January 18, 1946 Judith married Wesley Loven in Kulm. They farmed near Jud, ND until moving to Montpelier, ND in 1952 where they continued to farm. Judith worked as a nurses aide at Trinity Hospital and Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown. She was also a seamstress for Eddy Furniture. Wesley passed away in May of 1992 and Judith then moved to Jamestown. She volunteered at Hi-Acres Manor from 1992 until the spring of 2004. In August 2004 she moved to Hi-Acres Manor where she resided until her passing.

Judith enjoyed needlework, cross-stitch, sewing and reading.

Judith is survived by three daughters; Barbara (Dick) Hart, Bushnell, IL, Elaine Perich, Cando, ND and Mary (John) Frankhauser, Spokane, WA; two sons, Harvey (Marie) Loven, Rolla, ND and Kenis (Jean) Loven, Redmond, WA; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; three sisters, Marilyn (Paul) Gage, Valley City, ND, Lillet (Morris) Sjostrom, Kulm and Fern (Jon) Liechty, Jamestown and a special friend, Edwin Elhard, Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, one infant son, Galen, 11 brothers & sisters, Bertil Johnson, Connie Johnson, Alice Lindgren, Claus, Roy, Evert, Elwood, Paul & Stanley Johnson, Sylvia Edstrom and Vernette Sjostrom, and a son-in-law, John Perich.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2005 at the First Assembly of God Church in Jamestown with Rev. Darrell Losing officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota.
