Judy Marie Huber

Judy Huber, 59, Nortonville, ND, died at Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, MN on Saturday, October 2, 2010.

Judy Marie Lint was born May 10, 1951 in Jamestown, ND the daughter of Harold and Anna (Holmes) Lint. She attended Nortonville Public school until her senior year when she attended Edgeley High School where she graduated in 1969. Judy went on to attend Valley City State University where she studied speech pathology. Judy met Jim Huber and they were married September 4, 1971 at the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration in Edgeley, North Dakota. They made their home on the farm Judy grew up on west of Nortonville. Judy worked by Jim's side on the farm, gardening, making lunches, and raising children. She was an active member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Nortonville serving faithfully as the church pianist/organist, choir member, Sunday school teacher, and Altar society member. Judy's gentle, generous nature was what many people remember most about her. She loved to sing and play piano most of all and she could always be counted on to sing at a wedding or funeral in the community even with only a moment's notice. Her lovely soprano voice will truly be missed. Judy also served on the township board and the Nortonville school board.

Judy is survived by her husband, Jim; 3 sons, Bryan (Emmy Lodoen), Jud, ND and their children Isaac, Alex, and Betsy; Brandon (Amanda Peterson) of Nashville, TN and their children Austin and Parker; and Justin Alan of Jud, ND; 1 daughter, Amanda (Tracy) Brumfield of Edgeley, ND, and their children Samuel, Noah and Anna; three brothers, Vernon (Geri) Lint of Quakertown, PA, Phil (Mary-Lee) Lint of Howard, SD, and Larry (Carol) Lint of Greeley, CO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

Judy's family would like to thank all of the friends who have made this a time of tremendous healing.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Church of the Transfiguration in Edgeley, ND.
