Julia Helen Prodzinski was born December 29, 1921 at Buchanan, ND, the daughter of Michael and Pauline (Kulas) Prodzinski. She was raised on the family farm in Ashland Township and attended rural school. She later attended one year of high school at St. John's Academy in Jamestown, ND. On September 30, 1950, she married John Krapp at Sacred Heart Church, Fried, ND. They lived on a farm near Buchanan, ND and then purchased and moved to a farm in Gray Township near Spiritwood Lake, ND. Julia worked at Holter's Dry Cleaning, White Drug Bakery, Pamida and Trinity Hospital, all in Jamestown, ND. John died August 28, 1992 and Julia moved to Jamestown, ND in 1993.
Julia was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Altar Society, a member of The Basilica Of St. James, and the St. James Tabernacle Society. She enjoyed gardening, bingo and playing cards.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Roger) Parsons, Jamestown, ND; 3 sons: Ron (Gail) Krapp, Bettendorf, IA; Randy (Marsha) Krapp, Jamestown, ND; Roger (Shirly) Krapp, Spiritwood Lake, ND; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers-in-law: Jerome Cysewski, Billings, MT, John Edward Sucket, Bowden, ND and a sister-in-law, Delphine Prodzinski, Jamestown, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 sisters: Emily, Anastasia, Martha, Cecelia and an infant sister; and 3 brothers: Alex, Leo and Paul.
Funeral Service - 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005 at The Basilica Of St James, Jamestown, ND
Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2005 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND
Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2005 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Interment - Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
