June M Hansen

June M Hansen was born June 14, 1926 to Charles and Christina Seibold in New Rockford Township. She attended school in New Rockford and then later moved to Carrington where she graduated from high school in 1945. She worked at the county court house as a Deputy County Superintendent until she married the love of her life Norman L. Hansen on September 11, 1949. They made their home in Edmunds Township in Stutsman County. They had three children: Douglas, Jeanne and Lisa. They moved to Melville and continued to farm and raise livestock. In 1968 they moved to Carrington but continued to farm in Melville. June loved to garden, play golf and have coffee with her special girlfriends, she enjoyed music, bowling, and camping, traveling and fishing. Her family was her true joy and every moment she could spend with them she did. She was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church.

June passed away on August 14, 2022 with her family beside her. She was preceded in death by her parents-Charles and Christine Seibold, husband, Norman, 4 sisters-Carol Seibold, Doris Frogner, Alice Slaaten, and Geraldine Linnell. She is survived by her children Douglas Hansen (Mary) of Fargo, ND, Jeanne Hansen (Jamestown, ND) and Lisa Johnson (Rod) of Jamestown, ND, 6 grandchildren-Nichol, Lindsey, Noah, Nyah, Joe, and Katie, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She will be missed more than words can be expressed in words.

Funeral Service – 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2022 at Temple Baptist Church, Jamestown.
