June Heim

June Heim, 86, Edgeley, ND and Palm Springs, California, died at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown, ND on Sunday, September 11, 2005.
June Francis Butler was born June 16, 1919 at Fort Columbia, Washington the daughter of Col. W. D. and Katie (Wienert) Butler. June was educated in many different military schools. She graduated from Stanford University in 1941. During WW2 she was a member of the American Red Cross and served in many hospitals on the east coast. She married Elmer Heim at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Edgeley, ND on June 16, 1984. They spent much of their time traveling to many countries including China, South America, Australia, and Europe and also traveled to many of the states including Alaska and Hawaii. During the winter she and Elmer have spent their time in Palm Springs, California.
Survivors include her husband, 7 children: John Nelissen, San Francisco, CA; Bill Nelissen, San Diego, CA; Bob Nelissen, Phoenix, AZ; Laurie (Robert) Hill, Yorba Linda, CA; Phillip (DeAnna) Nelissen, Palm Desert, CA; Michael Nelissen, Palm Springs, CA; Tom Nelissen, San Diego, CA; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a niece, Caroline Dover, Lewistown, MT and the Heim family.
Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2005 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND.
Visitation: Noon to 7:00 p.m., Friday at the church.
Interment: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
