Karen Radtke Peske, 58, Ypsilanti, North Dakota passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her home. Karen Radtke was born January 27, 1957 in Valley City, ND to Floyd and Florence (Priebe) Radtke. Karen attended and graduated from Montpelier High School. She lived and worked in the Grandin and Hunter, ND area for several years. Karen then moved to Ypsilanti and married Mark Peske on the farm, June 14, 2014. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, gardening, making her famous horse radish, her animals, and most of all loving Mark. Karen is survived by her husband, Mark Peske, Ypsilanti, ND; mother, Florence Radtke, Marion, KS; daughter-in-law, Amy (Dustin) Ronnie, Ypsilanti, ND; two grandchildren, Taryn and Casen; brother, Allen (Chris) Radtke, Marion, KS; two sisters, Gloria (Dick) Machett, High Springs, Fla., Linda (Bill) Peterman, Wichita, KS; brother-in-law, Jim (Donna) Peske, Lamoille, NV; many nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Tuesday, September 1 at Eddy Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Kathleen Heller, officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 31 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Ypsilanti Cemetery.
