Kathryn Charles

Kathryn Charles, 87, Jamestown, North Dakota, died of cancer Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Kathryn Edger was born February 22, 1918 in Colgate, Oklahoma the daughter of Robert and Mary (May) Edger. She married Maurice Orr in Jamestown. He passed away in June 1982. She married John Charles in 1984 in Jamestown. He passed away May 5, 2001.

She was a member of the VFW Auxilliary. Her hobbies included reading and she enjoyed feeding and taking care of animals.

Kathryn is survived by a son, Duane (Treva) Shields, their children and grandchildren of Arkansas and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Sherman Shields, Maurice Orr and John Charles.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, October 10, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.

Visitation: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday, October 10, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
