Keith James Klose, 56, rural Jamestown, North Dakota died Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Jamestown Hospital.
Keith was born May 19, 1951 in Jamestown, ND, the son of Clemens and Marian (Reimers) Klose. He grew up and attended rural school at Sydney Township #1 for several years and then attended Jamestown schools graduating in 1969. He attended NDSSS in Wahpeton for diesel mechanics, graduating in 1971. He married Iva Becker on September 7, 1973 at the United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND. He farmed his entire life on the family farm south of Jamestown, where he enjoyed and took pride in his livestock.
Keith was a member of the Sydney Township Board of Supervisors for over eighteen years.
Keith is survived by his wife, Iva; his mother, Marian, both of Jamestown; two sisters, Barbara (John) Steinberger, Fullerton, CA and Renee (Wes) Valenta, Montpelier, ND; one brother, Dean Klose, Jamestown; six nephews and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Douglas; a sister, Beverly and his grandparents.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM, Monday, September 10, 2007 at the St. James Basilica with Father Joseph Barrett presiding.
Visitation: 2:30 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.
Vigil: 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the donor's choice.
