Kenneth Maylon Mogck

Kenneth Maylon Mogck, 71, Edgeley, North Dakota died Thursday, October 9, 2003 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown, ND. Ken was born November 28, 1931 in Kulm, ND the son of Irvin and Anne (Carlson) Mogck. He attended and graduated from Kulm High School. He then attended Valley City State College for two years and Dakota Business College in Fargo for one year. Ken joined the US Army May 8, 1953 in Fargo, ND and served his country during the Korean conflict. He was discharged from Ft. Lewis, WA on May 6, 1955. Upon his return to North Dakota he went to work at the Farmers Union Oil Co. managing Edgeley, Medina, Forman and Valley City until his retirement at age 65.

Ken loved to golf, hunt with his family and he especially enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Ken is survived by four daughters, Teri Pierce, Fargo; Kathy Hansen, Jamestown; Kim Houle, Jamestown and Lori (Troy) Marden, Grand Junction, CO, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, Arlyn (Joann) Mogck, Fargo and Curtis (Irma) Mogck, Jamestown and one sister, Betty (Darwin) Konrad of Fargo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service: 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Thompson officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.
