Kenneth Reutter

Kenneth Larry Reutter, 72, Pingree, ND passed away Monday, September 14 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND surrounded by friends and family. Kenneth Reutter was born on April 15, 1943 to Laurence and Elsie (Morlock) Reutter. He grew up in the Hurdsfield/Heaton area where he attended school. He was joined in marriage with Geri Johnson in 1961. Together they had four children. Kenny worked road construction for many years.
In 1981, Kenny married his gardening and fishing partner Beverly Wescom Liebig. Beverly had two children of her own, together they made their home in Edmunds, ND where they raised their family. Kenny was full of life and fun. He loved music, fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with friends.
In May of 1996, Kenny & Bev moved to the Wescom family farm. Living in the country suited Kenny's lifestyle giving him a large yard to mow and room for his three gardens. After retiring from Agri Cover Inc., Kenny spent most of his days working various projects around the farm with Deuce or Dolly keeping him company. It was not uncommon for Kenny to spend his Sunday afternoons riding four wheeler making his rounds to various neighbors. Kenny's outlook on life became his motto, "Who has more fun than us."
Kenny is survived by his wife Bev Reutter; two daughters, Lynette (Marlin) Miller, Bismarck, ND, Lisa (Neal) Heitzmann, McClusky, ND; one son, Larry (Billie Jo) Reutter, Harvey, ND; two step-daughter, Heidi Liebig, Mott, ND; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, with one on the way; two sisters, Marlys (Gus) Lange, Gloria (Lee) Garrett, both of Carrington, ND; two sister-in-laws, Sherry (Jon) Johnson, Glenfield, ND and Carol (Lloyd) Windjue, Jamestown, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Lori Ann, brother Terry and infant granddaughter.

Funeral service: 10:30 AM, Friday, September 18 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Candyce Wick and Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, September 17 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Prayer service: 5:00 PM, Thursday, September 17 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Pingree Cemetery.
