Kerry David Lanzdorf, 56, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, October 29, 2007 in Brookings, South Dakota.
Kerry Lanzdorf was born July 19, 1951 in Cleveland, OH to Jerry and Virginia Lanzdorf. He graduated from Valley Forge High School and attended Cuyahoga College in Parma, Ohio. In 1977 he moved to Ashland, Virginia to participate in ministry training at the Calvary Pentecostal Campground where he was licensed and ordained into the ministry of the Christian Faith. There he met his wife Barbara whom he married the following year. He was part of the ministry staff for many years and travelled to over 15 nations to preach the Gospel. Besides being part of the Campground Ministry, he ministered across America in churches, worked at a street mission in San Diego, CA for 2 years to feed and care for the homeless, and was Pastor at churches in Butte, ND and Jamestown, ND. In 2003, he and his family moved to Jamestown. Most recently he had returned to travelling ministry and was greatly loved by all he ministered to.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, children Sarah (Rob) Falk, Joshua Lanzdorf, Stephanie Lanzdorf, Danielle Lanzdorf and grandson Quinton Falk, all of Jamestown and his sister Nancy (Earl) Zalomsky of Butte, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Revs. David Govender and Diane Lang officiating.
Visitation: 9:30 to 10:30 AM, Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: Butte Community Cemetery, Butte, North Dakota.
