Kevin Kurt Becker

Kevin Kurt Becker, 53, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Monday, October 6, 2008 at Jamestown Hospital from lung cancer.

Kevin was born May 26, 1955 in Gackle, ND, the son of Ted and Alma (Deutscher) Becker. He grew up and attended school at Streeter, ND. Kevin enlisted in the US Army in May 1972 and served in Germany. He was honorably discharged on May 23, 1975. Kevin married Rhonda Will in 1978. He worked at Goodrich, Everetts Construction, 14 years for Larry Seckerson and 16 years with Vining Oil Company. On July 15, 2000, Kevin married Cindy Fettig in Jamestown.

Kevin loved driving truck, butchering, farming, hunting, camping, fishing and especially spending time with his family.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Cindy, Jamestown; two daughters, Amy (Casey) Elhard and Crystal Becker, both of Jamestown; two step-daughters, Megan Ripplinger, Fargo, ND and Chelsea Fettig, Jamestown; one step-son, Levi Fettig, Jamestown; one granddaughter; three grandsons; his mother, Alma Becker, Jamestown; one sister, Iva Klose, Jamestown; three brothers, Harry (Linda) Becker, Ypsilanti, ND, Dale Becker, Jamestown and Clayton, Gackle, ND; elven nephews; and seven nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Keith Klose.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Thursday, October 9, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Harlan Kaden officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
