Kim Sender, 75, Edgeley, North Dakota died Monday, July 14, 2014 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota. Kim William Sender was born on September 5, 1938 on the farm south of Jud, North Dakota, the only son of Paul Sender and Mabel (Drenth) Sender. He lived on the family farm his entire life. He attended school in Jud and graduated in 1956.
On March 10, 1963 he married Rose (Rosie) Marie Saari. They farmed together for many years and had 2 daughters. Kim was an avid collector and bargain hunter. He also was a big fan of western movies especially John Wayne. He enjoyed animals and the quiet life on the farm. In his spare time he loved going to dances and playing cards with his friends at the senior center.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Jody Gabel and Gail Widmer, both of West Fargo; 3 grandchildren: Roxanne (Tyler) Wanzek, Christopher Gabel & Cassandra Gabel; and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rose and friend June Milligan.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Arlyn Coalter, officiating.
Visitation: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 22 at church.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.
