Kory Wahl

Kory Wahl, 47, Jamestown, ND passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 in his home, Bismarck, ND. Kory was born August 17, 1968 in Jamestown, ND to Arnold and Polly (Otto) Wahl. Kory graduated from Jamestown High School in 1987 and the University of North Dakota in 1992. He received a degree in business/finance administration and served as a starting quarterback for the university's football team for two years. He worked as a financial advisor in Minneapolis and a broker consultant for CHS Inc. the past three years in Bismarck.
Kory loved spending time in the outdoors and on the golf course with family and friends, but most of all he cherished his time with his two kids. He was humble when it came to his many accomplishments, but nothing compared to the blessing of being a Dad to Carson and Kaitlyn. He was a man of good character and had a heart filled with compassion for others. Kory was generous with his time helping others with home improvement projects, and he could light up a room with stories and laughter for hours.
He is survived by Cristy (Lees) and his two children; a son Carson, 16, and a daughter Kaitlyn, 14; his five brothers and a sister-in-law: Craig (Ann), Edina, MN, Steve (Mary Pat), Jamestown, ND, Doug (Wanda), Jamestown, ND, sister-in-law Char Wahl Saxon (Dale), Mahtomedi, MN, Warren (Christine), Jamestown, ND and Ted, Shoreview, MN; and, many nephews and nieces whom he was close to. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Polly Wahl, brother Wade, and two sisters-in-law, Sheila & Corinna.

Funeral service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 21 at Temple Baptist Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Shawn Bowman, officiating.
Visitation: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, November 20 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Friday, November 20 at Victory Lutheran Brethren Church, Jamestown.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens.
