Larry Ford

Larry Vern Ford, 75, Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at his home.

Larry was born December 11, 1936 at Trinity Hospital in Jamestown, the son of Harold and Selma (Odegaard) Ford. He attended grade school and graduated from Medina High School in 1955. Larry married Betty Hagen on December 11, 1957 and they had four children together, Blane Scott, Sonja Rae, Larry Joel and Shane Miles.

Larry later married Barbara Smith Klundt on December 12, 1969 and they had four children, Shilo, Audrey, Joel and Drago.

Larry worked at ranching, at the ND State Hospital for 12 years and worked construction for many years.

Larry is survived by six children, Larry J. (Kim) Ford, Sonja (James) Fettig, Shilo (finance', Valerie Wahl) Ford, Audrey (Jason) White, Joel (Eva) Ford and Drago (Brooke) Ford, all of Jamestown; one sister, Laura (Wilbert) Metzger, Sea Tac, WA and one brother, Dean Ford, Jamestown. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren: Ryan and Nicole Ford; Eric and Michael Ford; Sahnea Fettig; Tyler, Aaron and Meghan Ford; James and Cody Brewer; Brianna Larck; Jasmine, Danielle, and Grace Ford; Joseline Ford and Ian Ford.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Blane and Shane.
