Larry H. Guthmiller

Larry H. Guthmiller, 57, Pettibone, North Dakota died Saturday, September 21, 2002 at his home in Pettibone, North Dakota.

Larry H. Guthmiller was born December 3, 1944 at Pettibone, North Dakota the son of John and Elizabeth ""Lizzie"" (Schmidt) Guthmiller. He grew up near Pettibone and attended school there.

Larry enterted the United States Army on April 13, 1966 in Fargo, N.D. He was discharged on March 25, 1968 at Fort Dix, New Jersey.

He married Lois Vaugh on May 15, 1970 in Pettibone, N.D. In June of 1972 they moved to Bismarck, N.D. From 1978 to 1983 they lived in Lincoln, N.D. In 1983 until 1986 he worked for Knife River Mine in Zap, N.D. In 1986 they moved to Pettibone, N.D. where he worked road construction until he was force to retired due to his health.

He enjoyed playing cribbage, camping, and fishing.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lois Guthmiller, of Pettibone, N.D.; three children, Stacy (Brad) Schumacher, of Pettibone, N.D.; Carla (Cliff) Leik, of Pettibone, N.D.; Jonathan Guthmiller, of Jamestown, N.D.; four grandchildren, (Ashley, Amanda, Joseph ""J.J"" and Kylie); his mother, Elizabeth ""Lizzie"" Guthmiller, of Jamestown, N.D.; two brothers and one sister, Vernon (Betty) Guthmiller, of Carrington, N.D.; Marion (Reinhold) Gruebele, of Pettibone, N.D.; and Gary (Sharon) Guthmiller, of Beulah, N.D. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Prayer Service: 7:00 P.M. - Monday, September 23, 2002 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, N.D.

Visitation: Monday, September 23, 2002 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, N.D.

Burial: Petersville Cemetery - Pettibone, N.D.
