Lauretta L. Brueske

Lauretta L. Brueske, 83, Wimbledon, North Dakota died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 in Jamestown. Lauretta Flohr was born April 20, 1920 on the family homestead near Wimbledon, the daughter of Reinhold and Mary (Spinarski) Flohr. She attended and graduated from Wimbledon High School in 1938. She married A. D. Brueske in 1943 at the St. Boniface Church in Wimbledon. They lived their entire life on the family farm where Lauretta was born. She enjoyed her flowers and birds. Her greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Lauretta is survived by her husband, three sons, Larry (Karen Woodwick) Brueske, Prior Lake, MN; Doug (Merri) Brueske, Jamestown and Rick Brueske, Wimbledon, three daughters, Bev Brueske, Jamestown; Judy (Bob) Baumann, Jamestown and Diane (John) Schlecht, Waite Park, MN, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ernest.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, October 10, 2003 at St. John's Methodist Church, Wimbledon, North Dakota with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial : Prairie View Cemetery, Wimbledon, North Dakota.
