Laverne Neukircher

LaVerne NeuKircher, 81, Jamestown, N.D. died Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, N.D.

Laverne Kuball was born March 31, 1921 in Clyde, N.D., the daughter of Ewald and Pauline (Goschke) Kuball. She grew up and received her education in Adams, N.D. She attended North Dakota State University in Fargo. Upon marriage she worked in a local bank in Grand Forks, N.D.

She married John NeuKircher on April 20, 1945 in Grand Forks, N.D. They made their home in Jamestown, N.D. John died on March 25, 1998. She was active in many organizations including, Eastern Star.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, N.D. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing craft projects, and reading.

Laverne is survived by three children, Judy (Robert) Lippert, of Jamestown, N.D.; Dave NeuKircher, of Jamestown, N.D.; Bonnie Peyton, of West Palm Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Lippert; Keith NeuKirscher; a sister Velma (Tony) Svoboda, of Jamestown, N.D.; and one brother, Edward ""Bud"" Kuball, of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by parents and husband.

Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. - Monday, January 6, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.

Visitation: Sunday, January 5, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, N.D.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens - Jamestown, N.D.
