Leona Alice Hust

Leona Alice (Morlock) Hust, 88, Tappen, ND passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, ND from COVID.

Leona was born September 24, 1934 to Adolph and Pauline Morlock.  She was raised on a farm near Pettibone, ND and graduated from Pettibone School.  Leona married Milton Hust on February 26, 1955 in Tappen, ND at United Methodist Church.

She was a member of United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.  Leona enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.  In June 2022 Leona went to live at the Golden Manor, Steele, ND.

Leona is survived by one son Arlinn Hust, Tappen, ND; one daughter Sherry (Kurt) Bodvig, Tappen, ND; four special grandchildren Paula Roehrich and special friend Mark Michel, Kristal Dockter, Bismarck, Kayla (Kyle) Kranda, West Fargo, Korey (Tiffany) Bodvig, Tappen; ten special great grandchildren Joseph Roehrich, Cayn Michel, Drayden Dockter, Drayce Dockter, Karson Kranda, Kora Kranda, Keylee Bodvig, Keagan Bodvig, Kenna Bodvig, Kensley Bodvig; brothers Reinhold (Norma) Morlock, Wesley Morlock, Reuben (Gloria) Morlock, James (Sandy) Morlock; sisters Gloria Doerr, and Joann (Willard) Kemmet; sister-in-law Lucille Morlock; two special friends Margaret Mittleider and Shirley Demaray.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Milton, daughter Lisa, brothers Clifford and Leroy Morlock, sister Eileen Hojian, brother-in-law Gerald Doerr, sister-in-law Vionna Morlock and Jackie Morlock.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at United Methodist Church, Tappen, ND with Pastor Brenda Goodman officiating.  Interment will be in the spring at Fisher Cemetery, Tappen, ND.  A reception will follow services at Tappen City Hall.
