Leona Lumsden

Leona F. Lumsden, 96, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown.

Leona Holzworth was born March 12, 1915 in Woodworth, ND, the daughter of William and Emma (Klooz) Holzworth. She married Stanley Lumsden in 1940. He passed away in 1979. She lived most of her adult life in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, returning to North Dakota in 1990.

Leona is survived by a brother, Harvey Holzworth, Jamestown; sister, Inez Murphy, Fairfield, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Edwin, Walter and Alvin; and four sisters, Alice, Elma, Edna and Beatrice.
