Leona Moser

Leona Moser, 79, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Monday, November 15, 2004 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown.

Leona Fondrick was born January 7, 1925 in Streeter, North Dakota, the daughter of Adolph and Pauline (Nuemiller) Fondrick. She grew up and attended school in Steele, ND. She married Edwin C. Moser on December 17, 1942 in Steele. They lived and farmed northwest of Medina, ND until 1972 when they moved to Jamestown. They lived in Jamestown until 1985 when they moved back to Medina. Edwin died May 18, 1996.

Leona was a member of the First Baptist Church in Medina and the Medina Homemakers. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, embroidery, playing cards and visiting with her grandchildren.

Leona is survived by her six children, Sally (Ronald) Kraft, Bismarck, ND; Sarah (Richard) Long, Bismarck; Clara (Melvin) Henke, Jamestown; Edwin Moser, Jr.; Bismarck; Rev. LeRoy (Jackie) Moser, Kellowna, British Columbia, Canada and Reuben (Barb) Moser, Jamestown, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, one sister, Alice Albrecht, Underwood, ND and three brothers, Allen (Patsy) Fondrick, Texas; Lorraine (Claudia) Fondrick, Oregon and Marvin (Mary) Fondrick, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild, two sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2004 at the Temple Baptist Church, Jamestown with Rev. Randy Jaspers officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 19, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 8:00 PM, Friday, November 19, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Medina Cemetery, Medina, North Dakota.
