Leonard Neumiller

Leonard W. Neumiller, 69, of Jamestown, was taken far too soon from his family due to complications of open-heart surgery on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the Williams Funeral Home (421 1st Ave S) in Jamestown, ND. Cremation has taken place.

Leonard was born on February 12, 1951 to Albert and Louise Neumiller in Harvey, ND. He grew up in Carrington, ND. After graduating from Carrington High School, he attended Wahpeton State School of Science and graduated with a diploma in Auto Body Repair. He worked at various auto body shops in Jamestown and retired from Goodrich Corp.

Leonard enjoyed car racing, attending car shows, hunting and most of

all, working on vehicles at his own shop. After retirement, he had just begun enjoying trips with his significant other, Hazel Herrmann.

And wanting to take it easy!

Leonard was an easygoing guy and very well liked in his community.

With his life cut short, the next deer hunting trip will not be taken and many projects unfinished.

He is deeply missed by his son Kyle (Matesi)his grandchildren,

(Isaac, Lucas, Spencer), Phoenix, AZ, significant other, Hazel, Jamestown, brother, Bernell (Sharon), Carrington, and sisters, Vauna Runge, Bismarck and Fern Neumiller, Cheney, KS.

Leonard was preceded in death by his granddaughter Sophia, sister LaVon, parents, grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There will be a reception for family and friends at the KC Hall at 3:00 PM, immediately following the memorial service. All are invited.
