Leonard A. Schultz

Leonard A. Schultz, 91, Jamestown, ND, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at his home.

Leonard was born June 29, 1921 in Woodworth, ND, the son of Ernest and Bertha (Petzke) Schultz. He attended schools in Woodworth. Leonard farmed with his parents and brothers, Oswald and Otto, near Woodworth. They raised cattle, sheep, hogs and chickens. On November 14, 1951 Leonard married Erika Mueller in Woodworth. They continued to make their home in Woodworth until 1968 when they moved to Jamestown, where they have lived since.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Erika, Jamestown; two sons, Conrad Schultz, Woodworth and Calvin Schultz, Jamestown; one daughter, Cindy (Ruben) Schultes, Jamestown; three grandchildren, Christy (Mike) McWilliams, Amber (Paul) O'Connor and Arlen Schultes; one brother, Oswald (Rose) Schultz, Jamestown and one sister, Elda Koenig, Fargo, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cleo; two sisters, Gunda and Helen; and one brother, Otto.
