Leone Paasch

Leone Paasch, 93, Gardenette Drive, Jamestown, died in her home on Monday, May 5, 2003. Leone was born on April 20, 1910 in McHenry, North Dakota, the oldest of three daughters to John and Ruth (Beach) Bond. She lived on a farm near McHenry before moving to another farm in Corrnine Township, North Dakota where she attended grade school. She attended high school in Courtenay, North Dakota and then went on the Valley City State Teachers College. She taught country school south of Medora, North Dakota for a year and then in Medora for another year. Leone married Carl F. Paasch August 27, 1934. They lived on a rented farm south of Wimbledon, North Dakota till the summer of 1938 when they bought a different farm near Wimbledon. She continued to live there even after her husband's death in 1981. She moved to Jamestown in 1996 and lived in the Gardenette until her death.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Harold) Boschee, Kileen, TX and her son, Karl (Irene) Paasch, Jamestown, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters, Bid Walker and Tat Walker.

No visitation or funeral service will be held. Private Family Service only.
