Leroy Morlock

Leroy Morlock, 70, of Jamestown, ND died Sunday, September 8, 2002 near Jamestown, ND.

Leroy Morlock was born December 18, 1931 near Lake Williams, ND the son of Adolph and Pauline (Wagner) Morlock. He received his education in rural schools near Lake Williams and worked on the family farm and Whitman's farm. He entered the US Army. Leroy moved to Jamestown, ND and worked at Bieber's Meat Processing Plant and the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown. He married Lucille Schneider on November 13, 1960 at the American Lutheran Church in Pettibone, ND. They lived in Jamestown where Leroy worked for Haybusters, Kurda Mills, and Melland's before retiring from Jamestown Truck and Diesel in 1995. Leroy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Roaming Buffalo Camping Club, and the Eagles - Jamestown, the American Legion - Woodworth. He enjoyed fishing and loved his Ford's and grandchildren.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Lucille Morlock of Jamestown, ND; one daughter, Tressa Hayden of Jamestown, ND; two granddaughters, Savannah and Polly Hayden of Jamestown, ND; mother, Pauline Morlock of Jametsown, ND; five brothers, Clifford (Viona) Morlock of Pettibone, ND, Reinhold (Norma) Morlock of Jamestown, ND, Reuben (Gloria) Morlock of Jamestown, ND, Wesley (Jackie) Morlock of Jamestown, ND, and James (Sandy) Morlock of Pettibone, ND; four sisters, Leona (Milton) Hust of Tappen, ND, Eileen Hojian of Steele, ND, Joann (Willard) Kemmet of Bradshaw, NE, and Gloria (Gerald) Doerr of Jamestown, ND.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Service: 10:30AM Thursday, September 12, 2002 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Dennis Ellingsen officiating.

Visitation: Wednesday, September 11, 2002 from 9:00AM to 9:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:00PM Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
