Lila Docktor

Lila Docktor, 81, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND died Friday, April 30, 2004 in Fargo.

Lila Miller was born May 25, 1922 in Jamestown, ND the daughter of Albert and Mabel (Riley) Miller. She was raised in Jamestown and helped her family operate the Miller Grocery Store. Lila graduated from Jamestown High School in 1940. She married Howard Docktor on August 25, 1943 in Jamestown. They moved to California while Howard was in the service during WWII. They moved back to Jamestown where their home has been since. Howard died August 2, 1982.

Lila enjoyed playing whist and having coffee with her friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynne (Dave) Sahr of West Fargo, ND and two grandchildren, Amy Sahr of West Fargo, ND and Dean Sahr of Jena, Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral Service: 10:30AM, Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Jamestown with Rev. Terri Akkerman officiating.

Visitation: Monday, May 3, 2004 from 1:00PM to 9:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
