Lillian Olson

Lillian Olson, 78, Medina, ND died Friday, June 1, 2007 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown. Lillian was born July 30, 1928 in Wishek, North Dakota, the daughter of Christian and Barbara (Sprenger) Wanner. She received her education in the Steele, ND and Tappen, ND schools. On October 28, 1951, she married Elmer Olson in the Lutheran Church in Medina. They farmed in the Medina area all their married lives, Elmer passed away in February 1997. Lillian was a member of the English Lutheran Church in Medina where she sang in the choir, and quilted for the ladies aid. She also enjoyed crafts, crocheting, visiting and entertaining at the nursing homes, often playing her guitar and numerous instruments for residents.

Lillian is survived by one son, Timothy (Renae) of Medina, ND; three grandchildren, Isaac (Lisa) Olson, Medina, Erika Olson, Jamestown, Daniel Olson, Medina; two great grandchildren, Krysta Olson & Molly Harr; five brothers, Arthur (Yvonne) Wanner, Ft Worth, TX, Ervin (Ramona) Wanner, Bismarck, ND, Allen (Leone) Wanner, Mandan, ND, Vernon Wanner, Billings, MT, Harold Wanner, Medina, ND; one sister, Frieda Rath, Apple Valley, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Service; 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at the English Lutheran Church, Medina, ND with Rev. Chris Hogstad officiating.

Visitation; 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND

Burial; Medina Cemetery, Medina North Dakota.
