Lillian Woell

Lillian Signe Woell, 82, of Jamestown, ND died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown.

Lillian Satrom was born March 21, 1921 in Page, ND, the daughter of Ole and Gena (Aasen) Satrom. She was raised on the family farm near Page, ND and graduated from Colgate High School, Colgate, ND. Lillian married J. Philip Alm on September 18, 1942 in Moorhead, MN. They lived on a farm near Ayr, ND. Mr. Alm died in 1961. She married Joseph Woell in 1964 and they lived in Casselton, ND. Mr. Woell died in 1981. Lillian moved to Fargo, ND in 1994, then to Jamestown, ND in 1998 to reside at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home.

Lillian was an active member of her churches, in the Cass County Farm Bureau, and as a volunteer for the Hospice of the Red River Valley. Through her life, Lillian loved to entertain and enjoyed playing Scrabble with her family and friends.

Lillian is survived by son, Steven (Pat) Alm of West Fargo, ND; daughter, Nancy (Paul) McKinnon of West Fargo, ND; daughter, Becky (Denny) Goetz of Jamestown, ND; son, Bradley (Midge) Alm of Fargo, ND; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons; one sister, Irene Yung of Minneapolis, MN; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and four brothers, J. Palmer, Owen, Walter, and R. Carl.

Funeral Service: 10:00AM Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Page, ND with Pastors Paul Simmons and Steve Berntson officiating.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 4, 2003 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Page, ND.

Burial: Page Cemetery, Page, ND.
