Linda Stutts

Linda Stutts, 59, Buchanan, North Dakota died Thursday, August 17, 2006 at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

Born on July 7, 1947, the daughter of Jack and Lorraine (Heil) Talbott, Linda grew up in Kramer, North Dakota. She attended college at Minot State University and graduated with a degree in elementary education. On October 23, 1974, Linda married James Stutts and moved to Wheelock, North Dakota, where she worked as a teacher. In 1984, Linda and Jim moved with their family to Buchanan, North Dakota, where they lived for many years. Linda worked hard to support her family and spent many years working as a CNA for the Anne Carlsen School in Jamestown. She was widowed in 1999 and later left the farm in Buchanan to live with her daughter in Ohio.

Linda is survived by her children; Shannon (Tom) Docktor, Jamestown, Erika Stutts, St. Marys, OH and Travis Stutts, Jamestown; her parents, Jack and Lorraine Talbott, Tacoma, WA and a sister-in-law, Gloria (Hugh) Edwards, Rugby, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Stutts, maternal grandmother, Lydia Heil and two uncles, Henry and Paul Heil.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel in Jamestown with Pastor Steve Berntson officiating.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home.

Burial: 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Kramer, North Dakota.
