Lloyd Daniel Gackle

Lloyd Daniel Gackle, 93 of rural Dickey, ND died Monday, February 13, 2017 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
Lloyd was born April 26, 1923 in Fredonia, North Dakota the son of Dan and Ida (Heller) Gackle. He received his early education in rural Fredonia schools, and farmed with his parents in the area. He later moved west of Dickey in 1960 where he farmed and homesteaded his entire life.
He was an avid trapper and enjoyed hunting and reading.
Lloyd is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister (Mildred), three brothers, (James, Ray, Russell).
Lloyd's wishes were to be cremated with his ashes spread on his farm.
Memorial service, 3:00 PM, Friday, February 17, 2017 at Eddy Funeral Home.
