Loretta G. Lindberg has passed in Sun City West, AZ on July 30, 2015 at age 94. She was born in Jamestown, North Dakota on October 7, 1920 to Amanda Brunnmeier and Charles Pederson. Loretta grew up in Jamestown North Dakota and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1938. Following graduation, she moved to Fargo, ND and worked as a hairstylist until moving back to Jamestown, ND to marry Donald L Lindberg in December 1944. While a house wife raising two children, Loretta was very active in the Methodist Church, Meals on Wheels, and eventually became a Silver Master Duplicate Bridge player. After retiring from his General Contracting business in Jamestown, Donald and Loretta permanently moved to Sun City West. They especially enjoyed ocean cruises. On their 60th Wedding Anniversary, they cruised to Hawaii, and scored well among the Duplicate Bridge players. Following the passing of Donald Lindberg in 2005, Loretta continued to live in the Sun City West home until moving into the nearby New Dawn Assisted Living in December of 2014. Loretta was also preceded in death by her brothers Bob and Chuck. Loretta is survived by her daughter Susan in Surprise, AZ and son Mark in Mountain View, CA.
Graveside Service: 4:00 PM, Friday, August 28 at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Michelle Brennan, officiating.
Visitation: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Friday, August 28 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
