Loretta "Sis" Schlosser

Loretta "Sis" Schlosser, 89, Edgeley, ND, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.
Loretta Podenski was born March 26, 1919 on the family farm near Edgeley, ND, the daughter of Anthony and Illa Podenski. She was raised near Edgeley, ND and attended the rural school. After her schooling, she lived and worked at home until she married Michael Taszarek in the early 1940's. Loretta and Michael settled on the Taszarek family farm in Ray Township where they lived and worked until Mike died in May 0f 1960. On February 19, 1962, Loretta married Peter Schlosser in Grafton, ND. They lived for a short time on the Taszarek farm and then moved to Peter's farm 7 miles north of Edgeley. In 1992, they moved into Edgeley.
Loretta was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND.
Survivors include 3 children: Lester (Stephanie) Schlosser, Jamestown, ND; Dale (Carla) Schlosser, Jamestown, ND and Mary (Dave) Maki, Gillette, WY; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
Funeral - 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2008 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND with Father Duaine Cote officiating
Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND
Visitation - noon to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Monday
Interment - Mount Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, ND
