Lorraine Bennett

Lorraine Bennett of Jamestown, ND passed away January 6, 2015 at the Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home where she had been living. She was born Lorraine Margaret Johnson on December 11, 1927 to Dorothea Turner and Henry C. Johnson of Brainard, MN and was one of 15 children.
Lorraine lived most of her life in Jamestown where she met and married William J. Bennett in September 10, 1946. After his death, she relocated to Arizona but later moved back to Jamestown to be with family. Lorraine had an eye for fashion and spent her career in women's fashion and jewelry. She loved to dance, play golf, travel when she could, and never passed up a great cup of coffee.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband Bill Bennett, her parents, brothers and sisters, and her Granddaughter Summer Skye. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Linda) and their daughter Alison, Patrick and his daughter McLain and her 2 children Daisy and Dash, one brother Skip, and one sister Dorothy Gums.

Lorraine's final resting place is with her husband at Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown.
