Lorraine Hanson

Lorraine Hanson, 79, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, September 25, 2006 at her home in Jamestown under hospice care.

Lorraine Luella Lafferty was born April 16, 1927 in Cavalier, ND the daughter of Andrew and Margaret (Borsa) Lafferty. She married Clarence D. Hanson on February 2, 1948 in Moorhead, MN. They lived in Moorhead until 1977 when they moved to Jamestown. She was employed in the dry cleaning business in Moorhead and at North Hill Laundry and Dry Cleaning Center in Jamestown until her retirement.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Clarence of Jamestown; one daughter, Dianna (Larry) Pinske, Two Harbors, MN; three sons, James Hanson, Enterprise, OR, John (Kimberly) Hanson, Fargo, ND and Brad (Carie) Hanson, Jamestown; a daughter-in-law, Vicki Hanson of Fargo; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sonia (Richard) King, Florida and one brother, Norville ""Tom"" Lafferty, Des Moines, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert; three sisters and two brothers.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Pastor Steve Berntson officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, Minnesota.
