Louie A. Thomas

Louie A. Thomas, 93, of Pingree, ND, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown.

Louie A. Thomas was born July 20, 1915, in Selz, ND, the son of Andrew and Apolonia (Haberlack) Thomas. He received his education, then worked for the railroad as a section man for 18years. Louie later worked for Midwest Motors, Jamestown College, Swingins Construction, Jamestown and Thomas Motors, Pingree. He was married to Rose Fenner, and later, Ruth Densinger.

Louie is survived by one son, Duane (Alice) Thomas, Pingree, ND; one daughter, Peggy (Fred) Hillen, West Fargo, ND; 8 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; and one brother, Frank (Maggie) Thomas, Harvey, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Mike, Louie, and Jon; one grandson, Shane Allen Hillen; three brothers, Alex, Mike, and Casper; and two sisters, Mary Pederson and Veronica Grossman.

Funeral Service: 10:30AM, Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Pingree Lutheran Church, Pingree, ND with Deaconess Candyce Wick officiating.

Visitation: 1:00PM - 8:00PM, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, ND.
