Lucille Morlock

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lucille Morlock. She was born on October 29, 1942, and left us peacefully on May 27, 2024. Lucille's vibrancy, love, thoughtful nature, and slight feistiness will be cherished in our memories forever.

Lucille is survived by her loving daughter, Tressa Wasylko, her treasured granddaughters, Savannah Broder and Polly Langfoss, and her precious great grandchildren, Theodore and Eloise Broder. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Dorline Guthmiller and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lucille was predeceased by her dearly loved husband, Leroy Morlock, with whom she shared a life full of love after their marriage in 1960. Her parents, Carrie and Peter Schneider, and her siblings, Bertha Guthmiller, Clarence Schneider, and Reinhold Schneider, also precede her in passing.

Lucille had a heart full of warmth and care. She lived for her family and was most proud of her daughter, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren. Her love for cooking and spending time with friends brought joy to those around her. She had a particular fondness for the color pink, a hue that reflected her vibrant and caring personality.

We invite those who loved Lucille to join us in celebrating her life at Eddy Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 4:00-7:00pm at Eddy Funeral Home with a funeral service following on May 31, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Eddy Funeral Home.  We kindly ask that attendees incorporate something pink in their attire to honor Lucille’s favorite color.

Lucille's immense love and gratitude extended beyond her immediate family. She deeply appreciated her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who always looked out for her and offered help. Your care and friendship meant the world to her, and for this, we are eternally grateful.

Lucille's spirit and love will continue to live on in our hearts. We will treasure every moment we had with her, and her memory will forever be a part of our lives.
