Lyle Bjone

November 4, 1921 — March 13, 2019

Lyle Alexander Bjone, 97, Ransom County, ND passed away Wednesday, March 13 at Maryhill Manor, Enderlin, ND.

Lyle Alexander Bjone was born November 4, 1921 to Christ and Ella (Anderson) Bjone. He attended and graduated from Ft. Ransom High School. Lyle proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during WWII.

Lyle moved to Fargo, ND and was employed by Corwin Churchill and Shirley Onstad Plumbing and Heating. He lived the majority of his life in his favorite place on earth, Ransom County, ND, with his yellow labs “Pal I”, “Pal II” and “Pal III”.

He is survived by two children; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and special friend Dorothy Johnson. Lyle was preceded in death by his wife June Bjone, brothers Morris, Hans, Vernon, sister Ardella and parents.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Standing Rock Lutheran Church, Ft. Ransom, ND with Pastor Dustin Lien officiating.
