Lyle Borchert

Lyle Marvin Borchert, 72, Lamoure, North Dakota passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at St. Rose Care Center, Lamoure, North Dakota.

Lyle M. Borchert was born October 13, 1949 in Valley City, North Dakota to Marvin and Dorothy (Rickford) Borchert.  He graduated from Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, CA in 1967.

Lyle was a man of very few words.  He enjoyed conversation if you initiated it.  He resided in Bethel Four Acres for many years until it closed.  He then moved to Rock of Ages.  Due to illness, he was moved to St. Rose Care Center of Lamoure.

He is survived by his sister, Valorie Bear, Jamestown, ND; three nephews Curt (Jill) Bear, Ft. Collins, CO, Andrew (Jamie) Bear, Jamestown, ND, Joseph (Lenae) Bear, Jamestown, ND; one niece Dona (Richard) Schock, Kindred, ND; one great nephew Maxwell Bear, Jamestown, ND; five great nieces Bailey Schock and Brianna Schock, Kindred, ND, Jacie Bear and Brinley Bear, Jamestown, ND and Kora Bear, Jamestown, ND.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

No services will be held.
