Lynn Edward Oleson

Lynn Edward Oleson, 88, Cleveland, North Dakota died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.

Mr. Oleson was born April 6, 1918 at a farm south of Cleveland, the son of Ole James and Christine (Nelson) Oleson. He received his education at Sinclair Township School and graduated from Cleveland High School in 1935. He lived all his life on the same farm where he was born. Lynn was a lifetime farmer and also worked for the ASC office checking grain bins.

He served on the following boards: Stutsman County Rural Water, Sinclair Township, Gackle Coop Elevator, Gackle Coop Oil Company and Medina Credit Union.

Lynn is survived by two brothers: Orville Oleson, Hatton, ND and Christen (Margaret) Oleson, Modesto, CA; two nephews: Orlo (Shirley) Sund, Cleveland, ND and James (Nanci) Oleson, McMinnville, OR; six nieces: Mona Hintzman, Minneapolis, MN, Lois (Robert) Grabinger, Jamestown, Chloe (Andy) Anderson, Sheridan, WY, Kristann (Garrett) Burkhardt, Valley Center, KS, Cynthia (Bill) Voller, Hatton, ND and Sally Oleson, Merced, CA; 23 great nieces and nephews; 29 great-great nieces and nephews; 6 great-great-great nieces and nephews and a special friend, Terry Suedel, Fargo, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Olga Sund and Frances Oleson, two brothers, Milton and Marvin and twin infant siblings, one nephew, one niece, one great-great niece.

Memorial Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 12, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel in Jamestown with Chaplain David Fisher officiating.

Family will receive guests from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 11, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Cleveland Cemetery, Cleveland, North Dakota.
