M. Jean Larsen

M. Jean Larsen, 92, former Jamestown resident, passed away December 24, 2016 in Camp Verde, AZ. Mary Jean Gilbert was born March 8, 1924 to Oscar and Helen (Paul) Gilbert in Leonard, ND. In 1940 she married Arthur A. Larsen. Art retired from Burlington-Northern Railroad in 1975 and they moved to Arizona.
Mary is survived by one son and two daughters, Arthur "Tony" ( Helen) Larsen, Phyllis ( DuWayne) Holm, and Sharon Stingerie, all of Camp Verde, AZ. Eleven grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, one brother, H. William (Bertha) Gilbert of Montgomery, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Eddy Funeral Chapel. A lunch reception will be hosted by the Clifford Schmoker family in the basement of the First United Methodist Church, Jamestown.
