Mabel Meyer

Mabel Meyer, 79, Jamestown, ND passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford, ND. Mabel Gumke was born October 28, 1937 in Gackle, ND to Jacob and Louisa (Schlecht) Gumke. They moved to Medina, ND where Mabel received her education in the rural area. Mabel married Leroy H. Meyer on October 20, 1957 in Jamestown, ND. Leroy died November 14, 1991. She enjoyed her crafts.
Mabel is survived by three sons, Johnny, Steven (Holly) and Kevin (Lisa); granddaughter, Molly; two brothers, Harry Gumke, Verndale, MN, Dennis Gumke, Tower City, ND; two sisters, Ella and Doreen; one brother-in-law, Art Henke; two sisters-in-law, Sybil and Hilda Gumke. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, four sisters.
Graveside Service: 10:30 AM, Monday, April 10 at Highland Home Cemetery.
